We wanted the design to embrace the classic architecture, the woodwork, and the historic pipe organ of the building. We kept the color palette to a minimum and used fairly simple clean typography that complemented the space. Our typography was rooted in old woodcut lettering from Hatch Show Print that we had used in previous years.

Hymnals, interior and exterior banners, and a newsprint program all carried the message “Take heart, Jesus is alive!” One of my favorite ways we incorporated the graphics was the projected dove on the historic pipes.
